Five cities, Nigeria

Nigeria is outside tonight. Find your people.

Five-a-side in Lekki, a boat on Jabi Lake, pine forest in Enugu, a gist room at 2am. See who's going, ask to join, and the cost splits itself, no 40-message group chat.

A map of people, live voice rooms, split payments, and groups that open once you're going.

A map of people, not listings

Every pin is someone with a plan: football tonight, a boat on Saturday, and how many spots are left before you ask.

"Tobi wants to play 5-a-side tonight." You join a person with a plan, not a poster, not another WhatsApp blast.

Split the cost, don't chase it

Pitch fee, table, boat hire, all divided, paid and ticked off. Money goes to the venue, never the host.

Live voice rooms

Drop in, listen, talk, leave quietly. No plan needed. When a room turns into a hang, one tap puts it on the map.

How it works

Three taps between bored and out of the house

01

Open the map

Everything happening near you, tonight and this week. No feed, no algorithm, just what's on.

02

Ask, get let in

The host approves you. Then you see the meeting point and land in the group with everyone going.

03

Split it and show up

The cost divides itself and everyone gets ticked off. You arrive already knowing names.

Rooms

Some nights you don't want a plan. You just want voices.

Live conversations you can drop into and leave without explaining yourself. No date, no cost, nothing to organise.

And when a room turns into a plan, because it always does, one tap puts it on the map with everyone already invited.

The money bit

Split it, don't chase it

Watch it work. Every time somebody joins, everybody else pays less. This is the same panel pinned at the top of every group.

We never touch your money.

The host collects the way people already do, by transfer. Let's Hang just does the arithmetic and shows who's paid, so nobody has to ask twice.

Recalculates the second someone joins or drops out
Everyone sees who's paid, no host doing debt collection
No wallet, no escrow, no app holding your cash
Safety

Strangers, but not just anybody

Real ID, real face

Government ID matched to a selfie before you can join anything. One person, one account.

The host decides

Every join is a request. Only the host approves, only the host removes. Their group, their call.

Public places only

Pins land on venues, never homes. The exact meeting point appears once you're let in, not before.

Gates that actually hold

Women-only means checked against verified ID, not what someone typed. Same for every other gate.

FAQs

Things you're wondering

When does it launch?
The live demo is open now. Tap through the map, rooms, chats and wallet, no sign up. Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan and Enugu go first when we launch for real.
Is this a dating app?
No, and we're strict about it. Let's Hang is groups doing things: football, paintball, gallery walks, tech talks, boat trips. Keeping it out of dating territory is exactly what makes people comfortable joining a group of strangers.
What if I'm shy and hate meeting new people?
That's who this is built for. You see faces, names and history before you commit anything. You arrive to a group that already knows you're coming. And in Rooms you can just listen. There's a Leave quietly button for a reason.
Do you hold my money?
Never. Let's Hang calculates the split and tracks who's paid. The transfer goes straight from you to whoever is collecting, exactly as it does now, just without anyone doing arithmetic in a group chat at 11pm.
What does it cost?
Free to join hangs and rooms. Later there'll be paid extras for people who host a lot and for venues that want their empty slots filled, but using the map stays free.
For investors

We are raising to make Lagos work.

₦120M, twelve months, one city and eight people. Lagos pays for itself at 14,000 members, and that is the whole thesis. The problem, the model, the payment rails and every line of the budget are on one page.
